As a child I made doll clothes out of scraps. I learned to sew on Grandmother's old treadle sewing machine. Because of the love of old things such as quilts & linens, designing & making "Quilt Dolls" adorned with old buttons & lace came to be. It is both rewarding & thrilling to make something beautiful out of something tattered, worn & no longer usable. It is my way of recycling.
